ACHIEVEMENTS

During the period 01 April 2024 to 31 March 2025, the University Science Instrumentation Centre (USIC), University of Jammu, successfully undertook and completed 34 fabrication and repair assignments catering to the requirements of various teaching and research departments of the University. These services significantly contributed to ensuring uninterrupted laboratory operations and strengthening the experimental research framework across disciplines.

Concurrently, USIC has witnessed a marked expansion in its analytical services, following the commissioning of several advanced scientific instruments. The availability of these state-of-the-art instruments has accelerated analytical workflows and will enhance the quality, precision, and reliability of experimental research.

As a result, the volume and diversity of analytical and technical jobs handled by USIC have increased substantially, reinforcing its role as a central facility supporting teaching, research, and innovation across the University.
