The programme was conducted under the able leadership of Prof. Savita Nayyar, Director, Centre for Women’s Studies, with the objective of creating awareness among students, scholars, faculty members, and the general public about the harmful effects of substance abuse. The event also highlighted important social issues concerning women, gender sensitivity, education, and social responsibility through the powerful medium of street theatre.

Students of Jammu Sanskriti School, Sehora, presented thought-provoking performances carrying strong social messages, which received appreciation from the audience for their impactful presentation and meaningful content.

The first performance was staged at Padma Sachdev Sursamwaad Rangsthal, University of Jammu, where students and faculty members gathered in large numbers to witness the programme.
