Department of Commerce, University of Jammu, organized a five-day Workshop on Soft Skills Development.

The resource person for the session was Ms. Neetu Dhar, Chairperson, Jammu Pariyatan Vikas Cooperative Ltd., and Chief Coordinator & Master Trainer, JK Dairy. With nearly 18 years of experience as a soft skills trainer, she led highly engaging sessions covering communication and interpersonal skills. On the first day, Ms. Dhar gave an overview of public speaking, personality development, and teamwork. She emphasized that in today’s competitive environment, academic knowledge must be complemented with strong soft skills to ensure career readiness and workplace success.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from M.Com Semester I and Semester III students and was coordinated by Prof. Jyoti Sharma under the guidance of Prof. Jeevan Jyoti, Head of the Department of Commerce.
