Bhaderwah Campus Facilitates MoU Between J&K Bank and Little Angels School for Welfare of Teachers and Students

BHADERWAH, JUNE 16: Bhaderwah Campus of the University of Jammu facilitated the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between J&K Bank and Little Angels School, Bhaderwah Campus, aimed at promoting the welfare and financial well-being of the institution's employees and students.
The MoU was signed under the patronage and guidance of Prof. Rahul Gupta, Rector, Bhaderwah Campus, in the presence of senior officials of J&K Bank and representatives of Little Angels School.
Under the agreement, teachers of Little Angels School will avail a range of banking benefits, including free ATM cards, insurance coverage and other lifelong financial services designed to enhance financial security and convenience. Students will also benefit from various welfare-oriented initiatives, including educational assistance, scholarship opportunities and other student-centric support schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Rahul Gupta appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and financial organizations in creating a supportive ecosystem for teachers and students. He observed that such partnerships strengthen financial literacy, promote inclusion and contribute significantly to the welfare and empowerment of the academic community.
Shri Vinay Gupta, Zonal Head (DGM), Doda, J&K Bank, highlighted the bank's commitment towards community welfare and educational empowerment. He stated that such collaborations help strengthen ties between financial institutions and educational establishments while serving the larger interests of society.
Shri Kumar Sourab, Cluster Head, Doda, underscored the significance of financial inclusion and assured continued support from the bank in implementing welfare schemes for teachers and students.
Shri Anil Kumar Thakur, Branch Head, J&K Bank, Bhaderwah, briefed the participants about the various benefits available under the MoU and encouraged beneficiaries to make effective use of the facilities extended by the bank.
On behalf of Little Angels School, Prof. Rakesh Sharma, Head, Department of English and Convenor of the School, expressed gratitude to J&K Bank for extending valuable services to the institution. He stated that the initiative would contribute significantly towards the social and financial security of employees while creating new opportunities of support for students.
Dr. Kuljit Singh, Academic Coordinator, also appreciated the collaborative effort and said that such welfare-oriented initiatives reflect the institution's commitment to the holistic development and well-being of its stakeholders.
