Objectives and Functions

Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance :- 

  1. To undertake intervention strategies for encouraging self-evaluation, accountability and continual improvement in all the systems and processes of the university for student and stakeholder satisfaction.
  2. To take steps for periodic assessment and accreditation of the university under NAAC leading to continual improvement.
  3. To collaborate with other institutions, governing bodies, private sector, government, alumni, civil society etc for improvement of Quality and brand image of the University.
  4. To establish quality benchmarks for the affiliated colleges and evolve mechanism for ensuring conformance to Quality.
  5. Conducting trainings, lectures, workshops, seminars, conferences, group discussions etc. for developing and enriching the intellectual capital of the University and civil society of Jammu region.
