RELEASE OF UNIVERSITY VERNACULAR JOURNAL ‘GYANANJALI’

Jammu, August 6: The annual peer-reviewed journal 'Gyananjali' (Volume II, Issue 2, 2024) was released today by Professor Umesh Rai, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu. This journal evaluates the relationship between language, literature, and society while expanding the intellect of researchers and activating and sharpening their critical insights. It provides an expanded logical, objective, and society-oriented research perspective in various languages. The journal is published in Hindi, Punjabi, Dogri, Urdu, and Sanskrit with the aim of encouraging researchers, teachers, and new talents to write research papers and creative writings.

The publication of this journal is managed by the 'Publication Cell', Jammu University. 'Gyananjali' is an annual multilingual double-blind peer-reviewed journal of Jammu University that provides a special academic platform for research and creative writing in various languages.

The current issue has six papers, three in Hindi, two in Punjabi, and one research paper in Dogri. Dr. Shashi Prabha, Convener, Publication Cell looked after the overall work of publication of the journal and assisted by Dr. Koshika Sharma.

 

During the release, Prof. Neelu Rohmetra, Chairperson, Press and Publication, Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Registrar,  and Prof. Sushma Devi, Dean, Faculty of Arts were present. Additionally, members of the editorial board, Dr. Pritam Singh, Dr. Sandeep Dubey, and Dr. Harjinder Singh were also present.

This issue of 'Gyananjali' symbolizes Jammu University's unwavering commitment to the dissemination of knowledge and linguistic diversity.
