Aims & Scope

The aim of the Journal is

  1. To establish an academic discourse on Translation and Translation Studies
  2. To promote a dialogue between different languages of Jammu region by bringing them on a single forum
  3. To showcase translations in multiple languages in order to promote different literatures and languages
  4. To popularize active translation among the students and scholars
  5. To establish a terrain for further research in the diverse languages of Jammu
  6. To foreground the interplay of language and culture and its manifestation in society
  7. To uncover grounds of commonality among differences in the different linguistic groups of the region
  8. To enable a comparative study of works in different languages and their translations.

The Journal shall showcase the original translations of the members of the club, scholarly articles by the field experts, reviews of translated works, interview with translators, book reports and subsequently annotated bibliographies and intersemiotic translations as well.
