Surana & Surana and University of Jammu Launch Moot Court Competition 2025

Surana & Surana International Attorneys, in collaboration with the Department of Law, University of Jammu, is organizing the Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition from 31st October to 2nd November 2025. This prestigious event will see participation from more than 25 universities across the North Zone of India.

The first round of the Procedural Test was conducted today, 4th October 2025, with 24 universities from North India taking part in this initial stage. The event was held under the supervision of Prof. Manju Jamwal, Head of the Department of Law, Prof. Sanjay Gupta (Convener), Dr. Navdeep Kour (Coordinator), and Mr. A. D. Johnson Christy (Surana & Surana International Attorneys).

Along with them, other esteemed committee members included Sunny Singh Rajput (Secretary, Moot Court Committee), and co-coordinators Arushi Dutta, Vrinda Parihar, Lakshita Singh, Sanchit Patyal, and Vardayani Vipula.

This competition aims to hone the trial advocacy skills of law students and foster a spirit of legal excellence among the participating institutions. The Department of Law and Surana & Surana International Attorneys warmly welcome all participants and look forward to a successful and enriching competition.

The next offline round is scheduled to be conducted on 31st October 2025.
