Cleanliness Drive at CDOE under Sewa Purav Viksat Bharat
Jammu September 30: Centre for Distance and Online Education, University of Jammu organized a cleanliness drive under the Sewa Parv Viksat Bharat initiative here today. Under this initiative, the CDOE campus including corridors, lawns, and open spaces were cleaned by NSS Volunteers, faculty and staff.
Prof. Pankaj K. Srivastava, Director CDOE declared the cleanliness drive open. In his address the Director emphasized on the importance of cleanliness, especially at the work place to create a pollution free, congenial environment for studies and work. The Director further stated 'Cleanliness is a vital habit. It is not just an act, but a reflection of our commitment to personal and community well-being. When individuals and communities come together with a shared sense of responsibility, true and lasting transformation happens'.
NSS volunteers, faculty and staff actively engaged in sweeping, dusting, and garbage removal around the campus. Beside, NSS volunteers carried placards with slogans “Do Not Litter” to generate awareness.
Faculty members, administrative officers, non teaching employees and NSS volunteers of CDOE enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive.
The cleanliness drive was organized by Dr. Rajber Singh Sodhi, Program Officer NSS Unit V, who also expressed his gratitude to all for their active involvement.
