JU faculty features in Stanford–Elsevier top 2% scientists list 2025
Jammu, September 25: The University of Jammu has earned international recognition with three of its distinguished faculty members being featured in the prestigious Stanford–Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List 2025. Compiled by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, this database is regarded as one of the most comprehensive global assessments of scientific excellence and influence. It evaluates researchers across 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields on the basis of parameters such as the H-index, total citations, and a composite indicator of career-long research impact.
Those honoured from the University include Dr. Sandeep Arya, recognised for his work in Nano Science and Nanotechnology; Prof. B. K. Bajaj, acknowledged in the field of Environmental Sciences; and Dr. Ajay Kumar Taloor, recognised in the field of Environmental Engineering. Their inclusion in this globally acclaimed list underscores the growing stature of the University of Jammu in contributing to cutting-edge and socially relevant research.
