Two -Day Workshop on Systematic Literature Review,  Meta-analysis concludes at JU

Jammu, 11th September 2025: P.G. Department of Commerce, University of Jammu, concluded the Two-Day workshop on Systematic Literature Review and Meta-Analysis with an intensive session on Meta-Analysis delivered by Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Professor at the Delhi School of Business. With over 16 years of expertise in consumer behavior, sustainability, and market research, Dr. Kaur has established herself as a leading academic through numerous publications in high-impact A and B category journals.

On the second day of the workshop, Dr. Jaspreet Kaur introduced participants to the principles and applications of meta-analysis, emphasizing its significance as a statistical technique for synthesizing results from multiple studies. She explained how meta-analysis strengthens research conclusions by increasing precision, identifying patterns across studies, and resolving inconsistencies in existing findings. Participants were guided step-by-step through critical stages, including data extraction, effect size calculation, heterogeneity assessment, and interpretation of results.

Her lecture skillfully combined theoretical rigor with practical demonstrations, allowing researchers to visualize how meta-analysis can enhance the reliability and generalizability of evidence-based research. By drawing from real-world examples, she demonstrated how this approach provides a stronger empirical foundation for policy-making, academic publications, and further investigations.

Dr. Harleen Kaur coordinator of workshop expressed sincere gratitude to the resource person for delivering two power-packed sessions and acknowledged the active participation of faculty, scholars and students in making the workshop a resounding success.
