Build with AI”: One-Day Workshop Organized at University of Jammu

Jammu, April 12: The Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu, in collaboration with the Google Developer Group (GDG) Jammu and Vidhyaraa, organized a one-day workshop titled “Build with AI: Workshop on Google AI Tools”. The workshop was inaugurated by the Head, Department of Computer Science and IT, Prof. Vibhakar Mansotra, in the presence of faculty members of the department and resource persons Abhinadhan Trilokia, Atul Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Amit Sharma and Abhay Khajuria.
In his inaugural address, Prof. Mansotra expressed his sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Umesh Rai, for his guidance and encouragement in promoting such academic activities. He further highlighted the importance of such initiatives in enhancing students’ knowledge of emerging technologies and bridging the gap between academia and industry.
“Build with AI” - a hands-on workshop was designed to introduce developers, students, and tech enthusiasts to Google AI tools and technologies. The event featured practical sessions on building with AI-powered applications using modern Google AI platforms, guided by experienced speakers and GDG community experts. Highlights included hands-on activities, real-world use cases, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from MCA & M.Tech students and research scholars of the department. The participants expressed their immense satisfaction and appreciation, describing the workshop as highly insightful and valuable. They conveyed that such initiatives are extremely beneficial and emphasized the need for organizing more such workshops in the future.
The event concluded successfully, providing participants with valuable exposure to emerging AI technologies and reinforcing the department’s commitment to promoting industry-relevant learning and innovation.
