University of Jammu Conducts Placement Drive with Nutraj VKC Pvt. Ltd.

Jammu, April 12: Guided by the progressive and visionary leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Umesh Rai, the University of Jammu is consistently advancing towards strengthening academia-industry collaborations and student career outcomes. In this direction, the Postgraduate Department of Commerce successfully organized a placement drive in collaboration with Nutraj VKC Pvt. Ltd., Bari Brahmana, for the students of M. Com IV Semester. The drive aimed at providing promising career opportunities in key domains such as Human Resource Management (HRM), Finance, and Marketing.

A total of seven students from M. Com IV Semester participated in the placement process. Out of these, four students have been successfully placed as Financial Analysts, while two students secured positions in the Human Resources department at the company’s Head Office in Noida. The remaining three students have been offered roles in the Operations Department at the company’s Jammu branch.

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Umesh Rai, congratulated the students and appreciated the department for its consistent efforts in strengthening industry-academia linkages, stating that such initiatives significantly enhance the career prospects of students.

Prof. Jeevan Jyoti, Head of the Department, expressed satisfaction over the successful conduct of the placement drive and highlighted that the department remains committed to nurturing talent and ensuring quality placement opportunities for its students.

The placement drive reflects the department’s continuous efforts to bridge the gap between academia and industry, ensuring that students are equipped with relevant skills and provided with meaningful employment opportunities. The faculty and placement coordinators also extended their gratitude to Nutraj VKC Pvt. Ltd. for their valuable collaboration and support.
