The event titled "Meri Boli Meri Pehchaan" invited the young students and members of the club to showcase their languages in any genre - poetry, song, prose or story. The event was a great success as many young participants of the festival came forward and showcased their regional language with a zeal. The showcased languages included Padari and Gaddi, Gojri, Urdu, Dogri, Hindi, Punjabi and Kashmiri. This also created an intra regional dialogue within the languages of Jammu as the participants also explained their works through translation. The event was very well received and the efforts of the Translation Club to promote the languages of Jammu among the youth was highly acknowledged. The event was organised and conducted by Dr Garima Gupta, Coordinator Translation Club, University of Jammu under the guidance of Prof Satnam Kour, Chairperson Utasaah, the Club Consortium of University of Jammu.
