Bhaderwah Campus JU, signs MOU with Indian Army

Bhaderwah Campus University of Jammu today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Indian Army (4RR) for running a  four months Certificate Course in Bhaderwahi Language for troops deployed in the Jammu region.

The MOU was signed by the Rector Bhaderwah Campus Prof. Rahul Gupta and Commanding Officer 4RR Col. Rajat Parmar 4 in presence of the officers from both the Indian Army and Bhaderwah Campus. 

The course shall be conducted jointly by the instructors of the Indian Army and external academicians well versed in the Bhaderwahi Language.

Speaking on the occasion Col. Rajat Parmar CO 4RR thanked the University of Jammu especially the Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu and Rector, Bhaderwah Campus for jointly running a Certificate Course in Bhaderwahi Language for troops deployed in the Jammu region. He said that such collaboration will further strengthen the bond between the Indian Army and the University of Jammu, especially the Bhaderwah Campus and this will go a long way.

Rector Bhaderwah Campus Prof. Rahul Gupta while speaking on the occasion congratulated the Indian Army (4RR) especially CO 4RR Col. Rajat Parmar for taking such initiative to promote the Bhaderwahi language. Indeed it’s really a big day for the entire Chinab valley, especially for Bhaderwah as this 4 months certificate course will promote the Bhaderwahi Language and in future also efforts will continue to further promote other languages also, he added.

Officers present on the occasion were Maj. Aashutosh Saraswat Quarter Master 4RR. Dr. Jatinder Manhas, I/c Head Deparent of Computer Sciences, Mr. Mujeeb Sheikh, Assistant Registrar & Mr. Arif Haleem Khateeb, OSD Bhaderwahi Language course.
