Faculty Achievements (recent)

• Professor Neelu Rohmetra, Founder Director, ICccR & HRM, University of Jammu was appointed as the Director, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh on February 10, 2017 and she has become the first woman to helm an IIM in that capacity.
• Prof. Neelu Rohmetra, presently Director, IIM Sirmaur, also received the 'First Ladies Award' on January 20th, 2018. The felicitation event was held at Rashtrapati Bhawan, wherein she joined over interaction with 100 other exceptional women achievers in the Country in varied areas. She was selected by Smt. Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, Union Minister of Women & Child Development, for this honour for being the 'First woman to head an IIM'. Shri Ram Nath Kovind, Hon'ble President of India along with Mrs. Kovind interacted with all the First Ladies.

• Dr. Pallvi Arora , Dr. Isha Sharma and Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh selected as Mentors of Change for Atal  Tinkering Labs established under the Atal Innovation Mission, a Government of India Initiative.
• Dr. Isha Sharma and Dr. Pallvi Arora selected as Regional Mentor of Change for Atal Tinkering Labs, Niti Aayog, Govt. of India since 2019-2021.
• Dr. Isha Sharma conferred with Young Woman Management Teacher  Award  by AIMS International.
• Dr. Swati Sharma, recipient of Doctoral Fellowship from ICSSR, New Delhi.

• Mr. Shahrooz Ahmed appointed as Deputy Manager Sales Marketing, Lloyds Bank, United Kingdom.
• Mr. Rajat Salgotra, owner of venture Sambhav Eco Alternatives
• Dr. Vaneet Kaur, student of the 1st batch of MBA (International Business)is presently a visiting Assistant Professor at JSOM, University of Texas at Dallas in Organizations, Strategy and International Management (OSIM) area.
• Takrar Ahmad Yattoo, student of MBA (International Business), Batch: 2016-18, has been a summer intern at the Yunus Centre, Bangladesh under the guidance of Noble Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus and has been a part of projects associated with the Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
• Preeti Bhat, student of MBA (International Business), Batch: 2016-18, has recently received a certification of ‘Fashion Studio’ from International Fashion Academy (IFA), Paris.

• Shivam Gupta and Hasit Singh Sachdev, initiated Global Shapers Community, Jammu Chapter, an affiliate of World Economic Forum, 2022.
• Rajat Salgotra, student of MBA(IB) Session 2017-19, was elected as Secretary, Students Cultural Council 2018-19 by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu.
